Kuala Lumpur: The Indian cricket team defeated Pakistan on Saturday, securing a place in the finals of the Women's Asia Cup T20 tournament.

India successfully chased down Pakistan's low scoring total of 72/7, registering a seven-wicket win with 23 balls to spare.

Left-arm spinner Ekta Bisht's three-wicket spell and team captain Harmanpreet Kaur's unbeaten 34 led the team to victory.
