Winter Session 2022: Both Houses of Parliament Adjourned Sine Die

Both the Houses of Parliament--Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha--have been adjourned on Friday, six days ahead of schedule. Read on for details:

New Delhi: Both the Houses of Parliament--Rajya Sabha and Lok  Sabha--have been adjourned on Friday, six days ahead of schedule. The session, which commenced on 7 December , was to conclude on 29 December  but now has been adjourned sine die.

During the session the opposition has been raising many demands including the discussion on Tawang issue. As the government did not accede to the opposition demand, there were frequent disturbances in both the Houses including opposition walkout. 

Besides some members demanded for an early adjournment of both the Houses due to X-mas.These were some of the reasons that the Houses were adjourned early.
