Purba Medinipur: Two people were killed and two others injured on Friday night after a bomb blast at the residence of Trinamool Congress (TMC) booth president Rajkumar Manna in Bhupatinagar area in Purba Medinipur district.

The blast occured ahead of Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee's rally in Contai town.

According to OC (Officer-in-Charge) Bhupati Nagar, Kajal Datta, two bodies have been recovered from the spot. The deceased are yet to be identified. (Agencies)
