Weather Update: Heavy Rain very likely in Telangana during next 24 hours, Says IMD

Hyderabad: Heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad and Warangal districts of Telangana in the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Monday.

In a bulletin here, it said thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places in many districts of the state and light to moderate Rain or thundershowers is very likely to occur at many places during the same period.

There will be generally cloudy sky in Hyderabad. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers with lightning at times with intense spells is very likely to occur in parts of the city today. Surface winds are likely to be North-Westerlies with wind speed around 08-12 kmph in the city, Met said.

Southwest Monsoon has been weak in Telangana. Rain occurred at a few places in the state during the last 24 hours, the bulletin added.
