New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday forecast light rainfall or drizzles in Delhi as the minimum temperature settled at 24.4 degree Celsius.

"The city will see generally cloudy sky with light rain," an IMD official said.“The maximum temperature is likely to settle at 34 degree Celsius on Friday”, it said. The relative humidity at 8.30 am was recorded 88 Percent.

The maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 33.3 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average, while the minimum temperature stood at 24.7 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average, an IMD official said.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) the Air Quality Index (AQI) remained in the satisfactory category in most places in the city on Friday morning. However, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Anand Vihar remained in the satisfactory category at 98 at 10:50 am. (UNI)
