Viral Video UP: Students made to clean school toilets in Ballia, probe ordered

Ballia: An inquiry has been ordered after a video of students of a primary school in Ballia, run by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department, went viral in which some students were seen cleaning a toilet on Thursday.

The video has gone viral on social media where students could be seen cleaning the toilet carrying a bucket of water.

In the video a man can be seen giving instructions to the students to clean the toilet.  He is even seen threatening the students to be locked in that very toilet if they did not clean it.

Block Education Officer (Headquarter) AK Jha said the video is being said to be of primary school Pipara Kala number 1 in Sohaon development block.

"An inquiry is being conducted by the BEO Sohaon and further action will be taken on the basis of his report," he said. (with UNI inputs)
