Amidst the buzz going on all over the country about the Supreme Court landmark judgement against bulldozer action, watch the video of five years ago in this report of Dynamite News, in which Manoj Tibrewal Aakash ancestral house was bulldozed and the family was tortured:

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has pronounced a historic verdict on the demolition of the ancestral house of the country's senior journalist Manoj Tibrewal Aakash in Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh, about five years ago. The historic verdict given by the Supreme Court on the petition of Manoj Tibrewal Aakash is stealing the headlines all over the country. This judgement of the Apex Court has opened the door of justice for many people.

Amidst the buzz across the country on the historic verdict of the Supreme Court, here is the Dynamite News report including the video of 13 September 2019, in which the then District Magistrate of Maharajganj, Amarnath Upadhyay, misused his position and got a bulldozer run illegally on the ancestral house of Manoj Tibrewal Aakash without any notice.

In this horrifying and painful video, it can be clearly seen how the government machinery was misused at the behest of the then District Magistrate with the intention of spreading fear and terror. Manoj Tibrewal Aakash and his family were brutally  harrassed and tortured openly.

It is clearly visible in the video that hundreds of policemen had surrounded his house from all sides. By barricading the road, his ancestral house was razed to the ground by the then DM with bulldozers in no time. It can also be clearly seen in the video that the police was deployed there in huge numbers like an anti-riot squad.

While the house was being demolished, Manoj and his family kept requesting the police and administration to stop the demolition of their legal house, but the government machinery crossed all limits of anarchy and did not listen to them.

Although Manoj Tibrewal Aakash and his family had to suffer a lot of pain and torture due to the demolition of their house, they never lost courage against this atrocity and continued their courageous fight against the illegal demolition of their house.

Manoj also filed a letter-petition in the Supreme Court against this atrocity, which the Supreme Court took suo motu cognizance of and last Wednesday delivered a landmark judgement, which has paved the way for justice for lakhs of people who have suffered from similar bulldozer action.

This historic verdict of the Top Court has once again proved that 'Justice can be troubled but not defeated'. Truth always triumphs.
