A Russian national, lodged in Uttarakhand's Tehri jail has gone on hunger strike.
Dehradun: A Russian national, lodged in Uttarakhand's Tehri jail has gone on hunger strike.
Due to starving, the condition of the Russian national named Sergei has become critical and has been admitted to the hospital.

Sergey was arrested on July 1 from Uttarkashi for allegedly living in India without a passport for many years. He was lodged in the jail on July 2.
On Friday, a prisoner informed the jailer that Sergey is not eating food following which he was admitted to the district hospital.

According to the doctors, he is still refusing to eat food and threatened suicide if he is forcibly fed.(ANI)
