Uttarakhand: Char Dham Yatra 2024 to commence from May 10; Preparations in full swing

Dehradun: Preparations for the grand opening of the doors of Kedarnath Temple have officially begun to commence the Char Dham Yatra scheduled for May 10, after a six-month gap.
In the process of preparations, the Dev Doli of the Panchmukhi idol of Baba Kedarnath has departed for its first stop in Guptakashi from Shri Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath on Monday (May 6).

On this occasion, the Panchkedar Gadsthal of Shri Omkareshwar Temple Ukhimath has been beautifully decorated with flowers by Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee with the help of donors.

Earlier, in the late evening of last Sunday, Shri Bhairav Nath Ji completed his worship at Shri Omkareshwar Temple and left for the Himalayas. Baba Bhairav Nath Ji is considered to be the field protector of Kedarnath.
Char Dham Yatra includes Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. (with ANI inputs)
