Uttarakhand: 6 dead, 3 injured after brick kiln wall collapse in Roorkee; Rescue operations continue

Roorkee (Haridwar): At least 6 labourers died and 3 others were injured when a wall of the brick kiln under construction collapsed in Mangalore Kotwali area in Roorkee on Tuesday morning. The injured have been admitted to the hospital.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, the accident happened in Lahaboli village. As soon as information about the accident was received, police and administration teams reached the spot.

Debris of the wall collapse is being cleared with JCB machines. Rescue and relief operations are underway.
The family members of the deceased are furious over the tragedy. They are demanding appropriate compensation and not accepting the bodies. They are also asking for the kiln owner to be called there.
