Uttar Pradesh: Woman among 3 injured during clash between 2 groups in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur: Three people, including a woman, sustained injuries after gun shorts were fired during an altercation between two groups in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur.   

 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the incident occurred in Kadjahi village of Belipar police station on Tuesday afternoon.

Altercation breaks out between neighbors
A quarrel erupted between two neighbors over the issue of putting a tin shed on the house. Subsequently, a man opened fire on those who were putting up the tin shed. Three people were injured in the firing. However, the police has confirmed that only one person was injured.  


Victim Surya Narayan Shukla said: "He and his sons were putting up a tin shed when neighbour Ravi Shukla opposed it and opened fire at them, leaving three people injured." 

Police on the incident 
Superintendent of Police (South) Jitendra Kumar said "Surya Narayan Shukla was working on boundary wall outside his house in Kadajhi village of Belipar. During this time, his neighbour Ravi Shukla opened fire. Surya Narayan Shukla's younger son Adarsh ​​Shukla was shot in the leg and has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The main accused has been arrested."
