Uttar Pradesh: Unidentified assailants kill man with sharp-edged weapon in Etawah

Etawah: A man was taken hostage inside his house and brutally murdered with sharp weapons by unidentified assailants, sending shockwaves in Uttar Pradesh's Etawah district. 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the incident occurred around 2 am on Saturday in the village of Gapchiya Samathar under the Usrahar police station area.

The police are investigating the case and questioning some suspects.

Deceased was working in Delhi 
The deceased has been identified as Manoj Kumar, who was working as a security guard in Delhi, Superintendent of Police Sanjay Singh said.  

He is survived by three children.


His eldest daughter reported that she learned about the incident at around 2:30 a.m. This murder has caused panic in the village of Gapchiya Samathar.

Motive of murder remained unknown 

The motive for the murder has not yet been determined. Further details are awaited.
