Uttar Pradesh: STF seizes truck loaded with illicit liquor worth lakhs of rupees in Fatehpur; Two arrested

Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) has busted a gang involved in smuggling of illicit liquor at the interstate level and arrested two accused. Read further on Dynamite News:

Lucknow: UP STF has busted a gang that was transporting illicit Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) in a truck from Punjab to Bihar. STF arrested two members of the gang of inter-state liquor smugglers in Fatehpur. As many as 550 boxes of Imperial Blue brand worth of about Rs41L were recovered from the truck.

Identification of arrested accused
The arrested accused are: Mohd Sahil son of Mohd Alam and Mohd Tasleem son of Mohd Muslim. Both the accused are residents of Badhua Kala, district Sultanpur. Both were arrested on Wednesday.

STF was getting tips for a long time
STF was receiving tips for a long time about illegal transportation of illicit liquor being smuggled from Delhi, Haryana and Punjab to various districts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar by interstate gangs. A team was formed to uncover the case and arrest the accused, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Further investigation is underway.
