Uttar Pradesh: Samajwadi Party senior leader Dr Shiv Pratap Yadav passes away in Gurugram

Dr Shiv Pratap Yadav, a prominent SP leader who played a big role in the establishment of Samajwadi Party along with Mulayam Singh Yadav, passed away. Read further on Dynamite News:

Lucknow/New Delhi: Four-time MLA from Gainsari assembly of Balrampur district in Uttar Pradesh and senior leader of Samajwadi Party, Dr Shiv Pratap Yadav passed away at 82. He breathed his last at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.

Dr Yadav was unwell for the last several days and was suffering from many health related problems.

Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav and several other Party leaders expressed deep grief over the demise of Dr Shiv Pratap Yadav and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family.

Dr Yadav was considered quite close to SP Patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh. He also played a big role in the establishment of Samajwadi Party along with Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Dr Yadav was a four-time MLA and twice a Minister in the SP government. In the recent assembly elections, he won the election from Gainsari assembly seat by defeating BJP's Shailesh Kumar Singh.

Various political circles are mourning the passing away of Dr SP Yadav.

His mortal remains are being brought from Gurugram to Balrampur. His last rites may take place tomorrow on Saturday.
