Mau: In a major action against the relatives of mafia don Mukhtar Ansari, the police and administration bulldozed their palatial houses located in Khwajajahanpur and Imam Ganj Mod area of Kotwali police station area of the city. According to the administration, these houses were built illegally without proper approval.

Bulldozer was operated under the instructions of CO City Anjani Kumar Pandey and City Magistrate Rajesh Singh after the approval of the District Magistrate. The administration team and a large number of police forces were deployed during the demolition operation.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the houses that were demolished belonged to Mithilesh Rai and Shahid Lari. Both of them were quite close to Mukhtar Ansari.
