Uttar Pradesh: Madhavrao Scindia's statue unveiled in Mainpuri

Mainpuri (Etawah): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Friday unveiled the statue of former Union Minister Madhavrao Scindia in Saifai.
Besides, the foundation stones of several development projects worth Rs 411.49 crores were laid down while some other projects were dedicated to the people. On this occasion, CM Yogi remembered late Madhavrao Scindia for his immense service to the nation.

Jyotiraditya Scindia, while remembering his father, said Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia was my strength, my ideal and a 'true son of Mother India'' He said his late father always considered “public service” as the real politics.
Earlier, CM Yogi and Jyotiraditya Scindia landed at Saifai airstrip and left for Mainpuri together.

The security was tightened for the occasion. At Saifai airport, DM Avnish Kumar Rai, SSP Sanjay Kumar Verma, MP and MLA of the party welcomed both the leaders with bouquets.
After unveiling the statue of Madhavrao Scindia, CM Yogi and Scindia left for Kanpur to inaugurate the Kanpur Airport Terminal.
