Sambhal: A lawyer was shot dead by two bike-borne assailants in Sambhal district on Wednesday, police said.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, the miscreants opened several rounds of fire near the electricity house in Bahjoi, killing the advocate in broaday light.
The deceased has been identified as Satpal.

He succumbed to his injuries while being taken to the hospital.
After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigating the case. The forensic team also reached the spot and collected evidence from the spot.
The police has informed the family about the death of the advocate.

Giving information about the incident, SP Sambhal Krishna Kumar said: "Today at around 10 am we received the information that some men on bike had shot a person. The police reached the spot and the injured person was taken to the hospital and from there he was referred to Moradabad, where he died on the way."
