Uttar Pradesh: Gunmen open fire at school bus in Amroha

Lucknow:  Gunmen opened fire at a school bus in Uttar Pradesh's Amroha on Friday, police said.
Fortunately, no injury reported in the incident.  

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the incident occured in Gajrola Police station area. The incident has created panic in the area.

The bus driver acted swiftly and drove the bus to the police station, escaping the situation.
 
Bus carrying 28 children
Bus driver Monty recounted that as he was transporting children to school, three bikers suddenly obstructed the bus's path. The assailants then halted the vehicle and opened fire at the bus. Fortunately, none of the 28 schoolchildren on board suffered any injuries.

Case registered
Superintendent of Police (SP)  of Amroha, Kunwar Anupam Singh, stated that the mini-bus driver was fired upon due to a personal inmity. The driver filed a complaint regarding the incident, based on which the accused were arrested and a case was registered. The further investigation is currently underway

The police is carrying out the raids to arrest other accused in the case. Childeren were handed over to their parents safely.
