Aligarh: Five people were killed and 15 others injured in a bus-truck collision on the Yamuna Expressway in Aligarh, police said Thursday.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the accident occurred under the Tappal police station area on Wednesday night. 

Police rushed injured to hospital

After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and rushed the injured to the hospital while the bodies were sent for post-mortem.

Five, including 5-month baby, among dead 

Five people, including a five-month-old baby, a woman, were among those who died in the collision.

The ill-fated bus going to Azamgarh

The double-decker bus collided from behind with the truck loaded with scraps of glass bottles. This private bus was going from Delhi to Azamgarh.

Police are investigating the case. Traffic movement has been restored on the part of Yamuna Expressway where the accident occurred.
