Uttar Pradesh Bureaucracy: Senior IPS officers shifted in state; Varanasi gets new police commissioner

Lucknow: The Yogi government on Monday shifted three senior IPS officers in the state with a new Police Commissioner in Varanasi.

1) Mutha Ashok Jain, IPS-RR-1995 has been transferred  from Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate, Varanasi to Additional Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow.

2) Mohit Agarwal, IPS-RR-1997, Additional Director General of Police, ATS Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow has been shifted as Commissioner of Police, Police Commissionerate, Varanasi.
