Uttar Pradesh: Ayodhya's ADM Surjit Singh found dead

Lucknow: Ayodhya's Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) Surjit Singh was found dead under suspicious circumstances in his residence on Thursday morning.

The cause of his death was not immediately known. Commissioner Gaurav Dayal, District Magistrate Chandravijay Singh, and all district administration officials have reached the spot. Police are also investigating  the case.

His family, including his wife, son, and daughter-in-law, lives in Kanpur. He had been ill for some time. Further details are awaited.
