Firozabad: Four persons were killed and six others injured when two cars collided on Agra-Lucknow expressway in Matsena area of Firozabad district on Friday.
Police sources said here that the incident happened near milestone 41 when the car coming from Mainpuri lost control and collided with another SUV after hitting the divider.
"Three persons were killed on the spot and seven others were injured. The injured were taken to the trauma center at medical college where one of them succumbed to injuries," the sources said.

The accident led to chaos on the expressway.
"Rescue team from UP Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) along with the local police reached the spot after which the traffic resumed on the expressway," they said.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ashish Tiwari reached the spot and inquired about the incident.

Mr Tiwari said that the deceased have been identified and their family members have been informed.
"The bodies have been sent to the district hospital for post-mortem examination," he added. (UNI)
