Uttar Pradesh: 10 killed in truck-tractor collision in Mirzapur

Lucknow: At least 10 people were killed and three others injured after a truck collided with a tractor-trolley in Mirzapur late Thursday night, police said. 

According to the police, the mishap occurred on GT Road on the Mirzapur-Varanasi border.

Labourers in trailer 
The tractor-trailer, which was carrying 13 labourers, was returning from Bhadohi district, when it was hit by the truck, the police said. Labourers were headed to Mirzamurad in Varanasi, the police further added.

The injured were rushed to Banaras Hindu University Trauma Centre.
