US Democrat Tulsi Gabbard officially kicked started her presidential campaign here on Saturday (local time).
Hawaii: US Democrat Tulsi Gabbard officially kicked started her presidential campaign here on Saturday (local time).
"Join me in building a movement for peace at home and abroad that will fulfil the promise of America for freedom, justice, equality, and opportunity for all. Today we kick off our campaign," Gabbard as stating.

Gabbard, who is the first Hindu woman to be elected to the US Congress even though she is of Samoan descent, slammed the incumbent president, Donald Trump, for his push towards regime changes in Iran and Venezuela.

She is currently serving as the Congresswoman from Hawaii's 2nd District and has previously served in the combat zone in Iraq, following which she was deployed in Kuwait.
The Congresswoman had earlier announced her intention to run for President in the 2020 elections in January this year. (ANI)
