Dhaka, Bangladesh: The U.S. Embassy in Dhaka has issued a security alert for planned nationwide demonstrations on April 7. University students are mobilising mass protests in Dhaka and other cities, responding to the ongoing Gaza crisis.

The embassy expects traffic delays near protest routes, particularly around its Dhaka compound. Public services will be limited during afternoon hours as a precaution.

While protests may begin peacefully, the embassy warns U.S. citizens to: Avoid all demonstration areas, Monitor local news for real-time updates, Keep away from large gatherings, Maintain charged communication devices.
