U.S. airstrikes kill 11 ISIS-K terrorists in Afghanistan
At least 11 terrorists belonging to ISIS group's offshoot, ISIS Khorasan have been killed in the airstrikes conducted by the United States forces in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.
Kabul: At least 11 terrorists belonging to Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) group's offshoot, ISIS Khorasan have been killed in the airstrikes conducted by the United States forces in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.
The airstrikes were carried out in Achin district on Tuesday, the provincial government media office as saying in a statement.

No group has commented on the incident so far.
The terrorists were targeted in Mamand Dara and Dab village areas of the district, where some weapons and ammunition were also destroyed in the airstrike, the statement further said.

Last week, at least five terrorists of the ISIS group were killed in a similar airstrike carried out by the U.S. forces in the province.
An anti-ISIS as well as anti-Taliban operations are underway to eliminate the presence of ISIS affiliates in Nangarhar province and the U.S. forces are providing airstrikes support to the Afghan forces during the operations. (ANI)
