US: 10 killed, several injured after truck rams into New Year revellers in New Orleans

Big Breaking news coming in from New Orleans, US, where at least 10 were killed after a pickup truck ploughed into New Year revellers. Read further on Dynamite News:

Washington: At least 10 killed, and 30 injured after a pickup truck ploughed into New Year Revellers in New Orleans. 

The tragic incident occured at the Bourbon Street in New Orleans' French Quarter on New Year's day.

Gunshorts fired 

According to reports, the driver also resorted to firing after ramming the vehicle into the revellers. 

The injured were rushed to five different hospital.

Police 

Investigators are sure that the driver who ploughed into the crowd in the French Quarter on Wednesday morning did not do so accidentally, New Orleans Police Department said. 

Police Chief
New Orleans Police Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick said that it appeared that most of the 30 people injured were local residents, not visitors.
