Prayagraj: The protest by aspirants demanding that Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) exams be held in a single shift entered its fourth day on Thursday. 

Students break barricades

The protesting students broke the barricades placed by the police outside the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) office in Prayagraj after which clash ensued between the students and the police.

Students are still sitting on a 'dharna' at the main gate of the commission and are raising slogans, demanding that exams be held in a single shift. 

Argument between students & Police 

The police is forcefully removing the students from the commission's main gate. During this time, a lot of heated arguments were also seen between the police and the protesting youth. The police also detained some students.

Students

The students say that their agitation will continue until their demands are met. 

Actually, the demand of the students is that the examination should be conducted in one shift in a single day instead of two days. Heavy police force have been deployed outside the commission.
