Kasganj: The blood-soaked body of a retired PCS officer Rajendra Prasad Kashyap has been recovered here in Kasganj. It is suspected that the retired officer has been murdered. The incident has created an air of fear and terror in the area.
The blood-soaked body of a retired PCS officer has been recovered in Meenakshi Guest House near village Mamon on Bareilly Mathura Highway in district Kasganj on Tuesday morning.
According to the Dynamite News correspondent, after retirement, Kashyap built a farm house in his native village Gorha and was also looking after the Meenakshi Guest House near Mamon village. A few days ago, on a complaint, the police had detained some boys and girls from there during the raid. Later, after investigation, he was given a clean chit.

Rajendra Prasad Kashyap was posted as ADM
Retired PCS officer Rajendra Prasad Kashyap was posted as ADM in Azamgarh about 7 years ago. He has two sons and two daughters, of whom one son and daughter are in America and the other son and daughter live in Noida.
Some people had an altercation
His nephew Vivek Kashyap, who lives in Gurgaon, left for Kasganj as soon as he had got the information. He said that Rajendra Kashyap is his uncle and he had an altercation with some people of his village regarding the guest house. Those people had attacked him earlier as well but 'I would come to know the real reason after reaching Kasganj.
Police engaged in investigation
However, looking at the blood-soaked body of the retired ADM, it is not clear whether he was murdered or there is some other reason for his death. On receiving the information, the police immediately swung into action and forensic team, sniffer dog team and fingerprint team have been deployed for investigation.

After the family members reached the spot, the body was taken into custody and sent for postmortem.
