Dynamite News UP Police constable recruitment re-exam in August; About 5 lakh to appear

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has announced the written examination for the direct recruitment of 60,244 constable positions in the civil police. Previously cancelled, this exam has been rescheduled.
The exams will be held on August 23, 24, 25, and August 30, 31, 2024, stated an official press release. This examination will be conducted in two shifts daily on the said dates and about 5 lakh candidates will appear in this examination in each shift.
To ensure transparency and fairness in the selection process, detailed guidelines regarding exam preparations, selection of test centres, verification of candidates, and prevention of impersonation were issued by the Uttar Pradesh government on June 19, 2024.
