UP: People catch leopard cub in Nautanwa; Case to be filed against them
DFO Niranjan Rajendra Surve said that the people who have caught the cub are being identified. A case will be registered against them under the Wildlife Sanctuary Act. Read further on Dynamite News:
Maharajganj: A leopard cub which has created terror in Lalpur village of Nautanwa in Maharajganj district was caught and held hostage by the people.
A video of this is going viral on the social media where it is clearly visible that the villagers have caught the leopard cub. A huge crowd is also present at the spot.

Action against villagers
Reacting to it, District Forest Officer (DFO) Niranjan Rajendra Surve told Dynamite News correspondent that the people who have caught the cub are being identified. A case will be registered against them under the Wildlife Sanctuary Act.
