UP: Eight injured after transmission tower falls in Prayagraj

Prayagraj: Eight labourers were injured after a transmission line tower fell on them in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj on Saturday evening. 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the incident occurred in Sarai Inayat police station area.

The identity of the injured were not immediately known.

Eight injured 

Total eight labourers have been injured in the mishap, of which 3 three are in a critical condition.

The seriously injured workers were rushed to the medical college.

The incident happened when the electric wire was being pulled from the bridge tower through a machine. 

Notably, the incident occurred  about 15 km away from the Mahakumbh site. Further details are awaited.
