Lucknow: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the BJP has registered a resounding victory in the election on 5 seats of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council. BJP candidates were victorious in 4 out of 5 seats, while one seat went to an independent candidate. The main opposition Samajwadi Party could not win even a single seat.

1) Allahabad-Jhansi Section Graduate
Babulal Tiwari, BJP

2) Kanpur-Unnao Section Graduate
Arun Pathak, BJP

Jai Pal Singh 'Vyast' from Bareilly-Moradabad Section Graduate seat has scored a hat-trick.

BJP and SP were expected to have a tough fight on all these seats.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said this victory is the result of people's trust on BJP.
