UP: Minor girl's body fished out of Nullah in Indirapuram
The body of a minor girl was fished out by National Disaster Response Force personnel from a nullah in Indirapuram Saturday.
Ghaziabad: The body of a minor girl was fished out by National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel from a nullah in Indirapuram here Saturday, officials said.
Public Relations Officer of NDRF Vasant Paved said Piryanka's, 10, body was pulled out after 14 hours of falling into the nullah.

On Friday night, Priyanka and her father Santosh were walking back home after seeing the local 'Ram Lila' when both of them fell into the open nullah near Rail Vihar, officials said, adding that with great difficulty Santosh came out of the open drain but his daughter drowned.
Upon getting information, the police reached the spot and tried to pull out the girl's body. However, efforts went in vain and the NDRF had to be called in. They recovered the body at 12 pm after a marathon exercise, Pavad said.

In a separate incident, Iftekhar, 12, died when he was playing on NH-24 near Khoda area, where road widening works are going on.
Iftekhar was pulling an iron bar when a cement slab attached to it fell on him. Passersby alerted Iftekhar's family members about the mishap. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him brought dead. (PTI)
