UP: Karni Sena strikes at SP MP's house in Agra; Several injured in ruckus

Agra: Karni Sena created a ruckus at SP Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Lal Suman's house over the controversial statement on Rana Sanga. During this, there was a clash with the police as well. When sticks were used, there was a stampede, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Several Injured

Several people were injured including a police inspector. As soon as the information was received, additional police force was called on the spot. Police used force to drive away the rioters.

Karni Sena had surrounded the residence of SP Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Lal Suman, who had given a controversial statement on Rana Sanga. Police was already deployed here. Karni Sena workers started entering the main gate of the residence while raising slogans. 

During this, when the police tried to stop them, they became violent. The police team was attacked. During this, the chairs kept there were thrown. Vandalism was done with sticks. The inspector was injured in the attack.

As soon as the information was received, additional police force arrived from Hariparvat police station. After this, the police started chasing away the protesters by hitting them with sticks. During this, many people are reported to have been taken into custody. 

According to reports, preparations to surround the MP's house were being made since morning. Officers and workers from Karni Sena had gathered in Etmadpur. There too they were stopped by the police. Meanwhile, in the afternoon, a large number of these people reached the residence of the SP MP in Hariparvat area.
