Dynamite News UP: Innova racing with BMW crushes bike killing rider in Kanpur; Drunk driver held

Kanpur: The bike rider was instantly killed when an Innova racing with a BMW crushed the bike late Friday night, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
It was a hit-and-run case but as it was caught on CCTV, the driver has been arrested. Reportedly the driver was drunk at the time of the accident.

Perhaps, BMW and Innova were racing in competition. Both were running at a speed of more than 100 kmph. At around 11:04 pm, when both the cars passed near Sanjay Van Police Chowki and turned towards Rashtriya Inter College, the Innova car hit a bike rider in front of the college.

After the collision, the bumper and number plate of the Innova car fell at the spot. The youth collided with the Alcazar car parked on the roadside, which woke up the sleeping driver Kabir. When he came out and looked, the youth was lying under his car in a bloody condition. The Alcazar car was also damaged in the accident.
