UP: I-T raids premises of several businessmen in Gorakhpur, know all updates

Gorakhpur: The Income Tax Department on Thursday carried out raids at the premises of several businessmen in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur. 

The team conducting the raid is said to be from Lucknow, Prayagraj and Lucknow and Delhi with local officials also participating in it. 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the raids are being carried out at a flour mill operator, hotelier, businessmen in automobile sector, real estate and other prominent traders. 

Orbit Group
The I-T department is also carrying out raids at the premise of the Orbit Group.

Document seized 
The I-T team has seized the documents found in the homes and offices of the businesspersons.

Investigations still ongoing at the residences of both directors of Orbit Group, Abhishek Agarwal and Anand Mishra, located in Hariom Nagar. Currently, both directors' mobile phones are switched off. Additionally, the team has reached the Orbit Apartment office on Medical College Road. Raids are also underway at multiple Orbit Group locations in Lucknow and other districts, including their residences.
