Anil Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police Faizabad informed that such meetings are a routine affair in the area, as the authorities take suggestions of both the communities amid festivities.
While asserting that the meeting was necessitated as Holi falls on a Friday when Muslim community offers Namaz Singh said, "the meeting was arranged so Holi could be celebrated peacefully. We always schedule such meetings and take suggestions from both communities."

As per police reports, no communal incident has been reported in the city, since last five years.(ANI)
