Bahraich: Five people, including two children, were killed and 10 others were injured in a head-on collision between a double-decker bus and an auto in Payagpur area of Bahraich district in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Police sources said that the incident took place when 16 people, all residents of Huzurpur, along with a driver, were going to attend a ceremony in the area in an auto. "In the Payagpur area, the speeding bus hit the auto, injuring all its passengers seriously," they said.

Police sources said that the deceased have been identified as Azim (12), Fahad (5), Mariam (65), Amjad (45), and Munni (45). "It is being said that the victims and injured are relatives," the Police said.

Police sources said that on getting the information, the police reached the spot and sent all the injured to the Bahraich medical college where five people died during treatment, while 10 others were undergoing treatment.
