Uttar Pradesh: Dalit man beaten to death in Muzaffarnagar

Muzaffarnagar: A 20-year-old Dalit man was beaten to death by a group of a men following a dispute in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district, police said on Tuesday.

 
Besides, his cousin also received serious injury in the attack. 


According to Dynamite News correspondent, the incident occurred in Paldi village.

The deceased has been identified as Sunny.

Police detains some people 
According to the police, some people have been detained in connection with the killing of 20-year-old.

The incident occurred when Sunny was returning to his village from Khatauli along with his cousin Shilu on a motorcycle.

An argument ensued between Sunny and the village head's son who was travelling in a car, the police said.

Argument turns violent
Soon the argument turned violent and Sunny and Shilu were beaten by the accused in which Sunny got died while his cousin left seriously injured. 


The police has sent the body for post-mortem. The police has also started the investigation in the matter. (With Agency Inputs)
