Lucknow: After hearing arguments regarding OBC reservation in civic elections in UP, from both the parties for the fifth consecutive day on Saturday, the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court reserved the verdict. The court will now give its verdict on 27 December.
According to Dynamite News Correspondent, 27 December is a holiday. The court asked both the parties whether they can come to the court on 27 December. Both the parties agreed to this, after which the court reserved its verdict for 27 December.

According to the information, the court also told both the parties that this is a very important matter, so there can be neither haste nor delay in it.
Earlier, after hearing the matter on Friday evening, the court had extended the stay on the notification of civic elections for the fourth time till Saturday.

The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court has been hearing the matter of reservation in civic body elections for five consecutive days. Along with this, the Lucknow Bench of the High Court had extended the ban on the notification of civic elections for one day each.
In the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court, both the sides argued even today, after which the court had extended the stay related to the urban body elections for one day i.e. till tomorrow.
