Road Accident in UP: 3 die, 7 injured as truck rams e-rickshaw

Three people died and seven were injured when an e-rickshaw was hit by a truck in Ramganj area of the district here in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, police sources said here. Read more on Dynamite News:

Amethi (UP): Three people died and seven were injured when an e-rickshaw was hit by a truck in Ramganj area of the district here in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, police sources said here.

Police sources said the incident took place early in the morning of Thursday when the truck hit the e-rickshaw coming from Pratapgarh district. "Three persons identified as Ajay (25), Rahul Nishad and Rajendra Nishad died on the spot," they said.

Police sources said seven persons were injured in the accident and have been admitted to the district hospital in Sultanpur. "District Magistrate Sultanpur visited the hospital and inquired about the condition of the injured," they said.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over loss of lives in the accident. While praying for the peace of the department soul he has conveyed his sympathies towards the bereaved families.
