Two of Khati gang arrested
Both the accused were subjected to interrogation wherein they revealed they had come to hatch a plan to kill a rival gangster.
New Delhi: Two members of Navin alias Khati gang, including a man who was carrying a reward of Rs 50,000, have been arrested.
Sagar alias Punter (26), along with his associate Ravi alias Cheeru (23), was arrested from near Pipal Chowk, Sector- 13/14 Dwarka on a tip off, said Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, DCP (Special Cell).
Both the accused were subjected to interrogation wherein they revelaed they had come to hatch a plan to kill a rival gangster, he added.

Two pistols and nine cartridges were recovered from their possession, he said.
A reward of Rs 50,000 had been declared by Delhi Police for Sanjay's arrest, who is allegedly the sharp shooter of Navin alias Khati gang, said the officer.
There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas.

Navin alias Khati gang has rivalry with Manjeet Mahal gang. They are splinter groups of Anoop/Balraj gang which had rivalry with Krishan Pehlwan gang.
After the demise of Balraj and Anoop, the gangsters fought amongst each other for supremacy and for the mantle of leadership of the gang.
The gang members are allegedly involved in cases of extortion and land grabbing. This gang rivalry led to several murder and attempt to kill relatives of gangsters and witnesses. (PTI)
