Bhagalpur: A shootout occurred in Bhagalpur between two youths in which one died while the other got critically injured. The firing took place in Jagatpur of Navgachhiya in Bhagalpur district.

The youths, Jaijit Yadav and Vikal Yadav, are real brothers and nephews of the Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai. Both of them are the sons of the Union Minister's brother-in-law Gullo Yadav.

According to reports, two brothers, Jaijit Yadav and Vikal Yadav, shot at each other over a minor dispute. Vikal scummed to bullet injury, while Jaijit condition is quite critical. It is also said that Nityanand Rai's sister is also injured in the firing.

Fight Over Water!

Report is that the two brothers  fought over some water dispute. Suddenly Vikal brought a pistol from home and fired at Jaijit. As a result he got injured and fell down but managed to get up and fought with Vikal. During the fight Jaijit snatched the pistol and shot Vikal resulting in his death.

SHO Statement

Shambhu Kumar SHO said, 'There was a dispute between the two brothers over water, after which firing took place from both sides. In this incident, one brother died, his mother who came to save him also got shot in the hand, while the other is undergoing treatment.'
