Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Government on Wednesday recommended to the Centre to order a National Investigation Agency (NIA) probe into the Coimabtore car blast, in which a suspected IS radicalist Jameesha Mubin, was killed early on Sunday.

A decision to recommend NIA probe was taken at a high level meeting chaired by Chief Minister M.K.Stalin at the State Secretariat
