Three killed and four injured in a road accident in Bihar

Buxar: At least three people were killed and four others injured in a collision between a car and a truck near Harikishanpur turning under the industrial police station area here on Sunday.

According to police, the accident took place as the driver of the car lost control of his vehicle and hit a truck parked on the roadside. The police said that 7 people who were travelling by the car from Vikramganj police station area of Rohtas district to attend the last rites of one of their relatives in Buxar district were injured in the accident.

The injured were rushed to the hospital, where three succumbed during treatment. The deceased were identified as Pramod Kumar Singh ( 46), Pappu Singh ( 45), and Ritesh Singh (12 ).

The other injured were referred to Banaras for better treatment. The bodies were sent for postmortem.
