Telangana Shocker: Ex-Army man chops up wife's body, boils parts in pressure cooker

Rangareddy: A 45-year-old Ex-Army man allegedly killed his wife and dismembered her body into multiple pieces before boiling the body parts in a pressure cooker in Telangana's Rangareddy, police said.
Identity of the accused
According to Dynamite News correspondent, the accused of the gruesome murder has been identified as Guru Murthy, 45, a former soldier. He currently works as a security guard with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
The shocking crime occurred in Venkateswara Colony under Meerpet Police Station limits in the Rangareddy district.

Dispose body parts into lake
The accused allegedly killed his 35-year-old wife, chopped her body parts and boiled them in a pressure cooker before disposing of them in a lake.
Missing Complaint lodged
The incident came to light after her parents filed the missing complaint at the Meerpet Police Station.
Accused confessed crime
Police began investigation and took the suspect, currently working as a security guard in Kanchanbagh, into custody. He allegedly confessed to killing his wife in fit of rage after a heated argument.
He boils body parts
After allegedly killing his wife, he tried to cover up the crime by chopping her body in the bathroom, then boiled the parts in a pressure cooker.

He allegedly cooked the flesh and bones for 3 days and then dumped it into a lake.
Mortal remains
Police has not recovered the remains of the woman from the lake into which Gurumurthy claimed to have disposed the body parts.
Investigation on
LB Nagar DCP, said that though the husband has confessed the crime, police are continuing their investigation.
