New Delhi: All the judges of Supreme Court have agreed to share details of their wealth (properties, money, etc.) with the public. This information will soon be available on the Supreme Court’s website for everyone to see.
The recent incident at Justice Verma’s official residence in Lutyens’ Delhi, where burnt bundles of cash were found after a fire broke out on March 14, has raised serious concerns among the public.
Despite Justice Verma denying any knowledge of the cash, the ongoing investigation by a three-member internal committee, formed by CJI Khanna, has left many questioning the credibility of the judiciary.

To Ensure Fairness
This controversy has further eroded public trust in the judicial system, with people now openly doubting its integrity. Many judges, including Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna, had already shared their wealth details with the court, but it was not made public. Now, all 30 judges have agreed to make this information open to everyone.
