New Delhi: Amid the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, Samajwadi Party Supremo Akhilesh Yadav reached Haridwar on Wednesday and took a dip in Ganga.
Later, he took to X (Formerly known as Twitter) and shared pitures of him taking a dip in the river.
Akhilesh Yadav along with his entire family performed 'Pind Daan' at Chandighat in Haridwar with all rituals and prayed for the peace of his uncle Rajpal Yadav's soul.

Rajpal Yadav, Akhilesh's uncle took the last breathe at the age of 73 at Vedanta Hospital in Gurugram on 9 January. He was down with a prolonged illness. He was the brother of Akhilesh's father late Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Other than Akhilesh Yadav, several workers and leaders of Samajwadi Party such as Ram Gopal Yadav, MP Dimple Yadav, National general secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav, MP Dharmendra Yadav, MP Akshay Yadav, MP Aditya Yadav and MLAs Tej Pratap Yadav, Prateek Yadav, his wife Aparna Yadav and Anuj Yadav also attended the same.
