SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav slams UP Budget as 'hollow'

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party Supremo Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday slammed the Uttar Pradesh governemnt over its Budget 2025, saying this budget failed to address the real issues and offered nothing to Dalits and Backward Classes.

Addressing a press conference here, Akhilesh Yadav said: "This was BJP's second last budget, and unfortunately, it's consistent with their track record of presenting visionless budgets. This particular budget is hollow, lacking substantial proposals to address real issues."

"During the press Conference Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP government has accused governemnt of ruining the Mandis (markets) established during the Samajwadi Party government. 

This budget has nothing for Dalits, backward classes, minorities, and scheduled tribes, Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav said.

"Until you improve law and order, you won't attract investment in Uttar Pradesh," Akhilesh Yadav said.
